The Forms Listbox lists all the forms contained within the current dreamweaver document. As a web developer you're probably already aware of the fact that you can have many forms contained within the same document or HTML file. Hence Validate Form can create the form validation code for all those forms. Simply select which form you would like to create the form validation code for, and for each field that you want to validate, check which type of validation you want to perform, enter an error message and click OK. Then run the extension again and do the same for the next form. Please be aware though, if you select the same form from the listbox, Validate Form will overwrite the existing form validation code when you click OK. |
