 Validate Form is a powerful Macromedia Dreamweaver MX Extension fully compatible with the latest version of Dreamweaver, version 8.0, designed to create the Form Validation Code for your static HTML Web form.
The Extension is designed for people with absolutely no! programming experience whatsoever, or for experienced coders who want a quick way of writing skeleton javascript code.
Validate Form will create the Form Validation Code for:
- empty text, textarea and password fields
- input NOT conforming to specific data types including:
- alphanumeric
- whole number (or integer)
- floating point number
- predefined date and time formats
- acceptable OR unacceptable characters
- your own customizable Regular Expression
- that a specified number of characters have been entered into a text, textarea or password field
- that a valid e-mail address has been entered into a text field
- that the user does not select the first option (or default) value from a select-list or multiple select list
- that a user-defined number of selections are made from a multiple select list
- that a radio button or checkbox has been ticked or checked
- that a group of checkboxes have been ticked or checked
- that one field is equal to another, allowing for things such as password confirmation checks
- and finally, that the user has browsed to a file to be uploaded to a server
The Form Validation Code generated by Validate Form is compatible with any browser that supports Javascript including:

- All Opera browsers
- AOL browsers and
- Mozilla based browsers
